                  CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, WHICH CHANGE ORDER
                  INCREASES THE CONTRACT AMOUNT BY FIFTY-SEVEN
                  THOUSAND, FIVE HUNDRED THIRTY-THREE AND 84/100
                  DOLLARS ($57,533.84) FOR A REVISED CONTRACT
                  PRICE OF FOUR HUNDRED FORTY-SIX THOUSAND, SIX
                  HUNDRED FIFTEEN AND 39/100 DOLLARS
                  ($446,615.39), WITH A THREE AND ONE-HALF (3
                  1/2) DAY EXTENSION OF TIME FOR A REVISED
                  COMPLETION DATE OF DECEMBER 5, 1996.
                 
                 
                                                    
                 
                 
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby authorized 
the
       execution of Change Order No. 1, Contract No. 99B, 19th Street
       Sewer Relocation, with Cash Construction Company, which change
       order increases the contract amount by $57,533.84 for a revised
       contract price of $446,615.39, with a three and one-half day
       extension of time for a revised completion date of December 5,
       1996.
